Senior ManagerResponsibilities:

Keep pace with the cutting edge technology developing status and trends together with the leading start ups and experts in wireline fields; provide the technical investigation and research; undertake the technical planning task for supporting HQ' s roadmap research in the following area:

- Wireline, especially Datacomm networking product line

- Determine potential future improvement of the product for competitiveness

- Providing competitive analysis for Wireline, especially Datacomm product line

- Identify key initiatives for future product direction and potential

Build the continuously relationship and robust channel with main Venture Capital and investment bank and other technical capital organizations regarding the wireline technologies;

Build the extensive and long term relationship with the leading academic universities and institutes for cultivating the technical innovation and exploring the new cooperation frame based on study and current experience;

Promote and rebuild business development and cooperation issue as a crucial role for the technical innovation and international standard process;

Promote and build the relationship with Tier 1 carriers' research division regarding their future requirements' comprehension and customization;

Others TBD, which include the Industry Ecosystem partnership program, say, the Joint Lab with Tier 1 Carriers, etc.

Requirements:

6+ yrs successful background and experiences in the industry with both big companies and start-ups.

Extensive and profound knowledge of the details of the cutting edge technical topics of Wireline fields and keen on of technical judgment and understanding of the emerging technical trends and ideas in the industry.

Broad and continuous channels or resources with industry; include the main VC, startup and entrepreneurs. Strong ties and skills involved with VC are welcome.

Strong interpersonal communication and team work skills and great passion in business and relationship developing with a long term based manner.

Master Degree on telecommunication, EE, computer science, or similar filed of North America Diploma.

May require travel throughout North America and sometimes China HQ based on projects demand.
